Working Principle
FM10 series Electromagnetic Flowmeter measuring tube is equipped with excitation coils above and below, the converter to provide excitation current to generate a magnetic field to fill the measuring pipe, a pair or more pairs of electrodes mounted on the inner wall of the measuring tube (perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field) and liquid contact to detect and induce the induced electric potential. The potential signal is sent via a cable to the converter for signal processing, and the inner wall of the measuring tube is fitted with an insulating lining to form a high impedance non-magnetic measuring tube.
Lining and electrode contact with the measured fluid, different corrosive, abrasive and temperature fluid selection of different types of lining, as long as the reasonable choice of lining and electrode materials, can achieve good corrosion and wear resistance, therefore, can measure a variety of strong acids, strong alkalis and other chemical solutions.
Electromagnetic Flowmeter in addition to measuring the volume flow of general conductive liquids, but also used to measure the volume flow of strong acids, strong alkalis and other strong corrosive liquids and mud, pulp, pulp and other uniform liquid-solid two-phase suspended liquid. Widely used in municipal management, water conservancy construction, river dredging and other fields of flow measurement.
