FEEJOY Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter is used in water and liquid storage tanks, acid and alkali storage tanks, slurry storage tanks, solid particles, and small oil storage tanks. RRF2 series radar level gauge is suitable for various conductive, non-conductive and corrosive media. Guided wave radar devices have no moving parts and require minimal maintenance.

Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter is a measurement instrument based on the time travel principle. The radar wave runs at the speed of light and the running time can be converted into a level signal through electronic components. When it meets the surface of the measured medium, part of Radar Level Transmitter pulse is reflected to form an echo and returns to the pulse transmitter along the same path. The distance between the transmitter and the measured medium surface is proportional to the propagation time of the pulse in between, and the level height is calculated.

Q: How to install the Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter？

A: 1. From the perspective of measurement range (tank degree), the rod type is not suitable for fluid measurement with a large range. Because the rod type is too long, it is inconvenient to transport and install. Small-range fluid measurement is more suitable for rod-type Reflex-Radar Level Transmitter. Generally, if the medium has foaming (foaming), boiling surface or turbulent flow (liquid level fluctuation) during the measurement process, it is recommended that you use the rod antenna; although the cable antenna is also available, the effect is not as good as the rod antenna.

2. The cable type reflex-radar level transmitter will not be limited by the length, so the cable type is generally used for measuring a large range. Usually, the medium in the measurement process is viscous liquid or solid powder, it is recommended to use the cable antenna; the rod antenna is also available, but the effect is not as good as the cable antenna.
